If market research data is like gold to businesses and marketers, then tracked is the goldmine. Tracked is a new service, just launched, where you can track news and business data, make business connections and and share your watchlists. What I like is you can create watchlists of people, companies or Industries and feed the latest intelligence direct to your desktop. I think market research has just become easier.
And on the subject of big databases, the Internet Archive has launched a project called bookserver, which allows users to find, buy and borrow digital books or ebooks from anywhere on the web and in any format. They call it a web of books and it’s quite an ambitious goal when you consider just how many ebooks and formats there are on the Internet.
