An author bio with a link back to your website. But it doesn’t have to be your website URL. It can be any page on your site and any keyword. So, you choose an important keyword you want to be ranked for in the search engines. Let’s suppose it’s cactus growing and you continue to write one article a week on this topic.
In time your articles will be distributed all over the web creating a growing army of links pointing back to your website. Google will pick this up and rank you highly for cactus growing. Why? Because all the links use the words cactus growing (or a close variation), the articles are about cactus growing and both your site and the site linking to you is related to cactus growing. If it wasn’t, they wouldn’t be interested in linking to you. This is just one way to build SEO links. There are plenty more.
